The local and international volunteers give basketball lessons on the basketball court at Walmer High School. The basketball training for high school kids is every Monday and Wednesday afternoon and the training for the kids underage of 12 takes place every Tuesday and Thursday.

These children live in circumstances we cannot imagine. They all have their own personal stories. They live in big families and most of the time they do not have money left after buying the essentials such as food, clothes and school supplies. If they have the money for that to begin with. With this initiative, they get personal attention and are able to work on improving themselves. They do not only improve in sports, get a better endurance and get more fit; they also develop important life skills such as communication with each other and becoming more confident. This is something that will help them when they are older.
